Our flagship online sensory processing awareness training covers everything you ever wanted to know about Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD).  It will give you the knowledge and confidence you need to support sensory differences and to use sensory supports safely. By the end you will understand sensory behaviours and know which strategies you can use to support children to succeed.

The online format allows you to study in your own time, at your own pace, whether at home or work.  You will find this training helpful if you want to

What is the membership?

The GriffinOT membership is an annual recurring subscription which provides access to all of our content. It includes our monthly Ask Kim sessions where you can ask Kim questions in person (online obviously!).

Can I try before I buy?

You can join Section 1 for free.  This will show you what the training is like. The free version does not include a CPD certificate. You have the option to upgrade to the full course or purchase a certificate separately at the end of Section 1.

When will I receive access to the training?

Single (individual) purchases will receive their access coupon within 15 minutes of payment,  this will arrive by email. Please mark GriffinOT as safe to ensure you receive renewal reminders as well. If you have planned to start the training on a specific day, it is highly recommended you purchase and activate the training a couple of days in advance to ensure you definitely have access on the day.

School or group purchases will receive their access coupons within two working days of payment via credit card. Access is issued manually on working days. If you need access for a specific training day, it is recommended you make your purchase a minimum of week in advance.

Invoice orders will receive access within two working days of receipt of a PO number or notification of payment. Further details on school/group subscriptions is available below.

Can I have an invoice?

Yes. GriffinOT can issue invoices for purchases above £200. We apologise that invoices can not be issues for amounts smaller than this.

How long is the training?

  • Section 1 is 2 hours. Total = 2 hour.
  • Section 2 is 4 hours. Total = 6 hours.
  • Section 3 contains a further 3+ hours of content. This section is optional and you can choose what videos are most relevant to your learning needs.

How long do I have access to the content?

You have twelve months’ access to the course content from the day of purchase. It is highly recommended that you activate your access when you receive the coupon to get the most out of your time..

Is there a completion certificate?

Paying members receive CPD certificates when they complete each Sections.

If you joined Section 1 only and did not want to upgrade to Section 2, you can purchase a Section 1 CPD certificate for £10.

In summary

  • Section 1 : CPD certificates are issued for paying members or can be purchased separately.
  • Section 2 : A CPD certificate is issued at the end of the course.
  • Section 3: This section is optional, there is no CPD certificate.

Can I ask for a refund?

How much does the online sensory processing training cost in a different currency?

You can use xe.com to convert GBP£ into your own currency.  Your bank will likely charge a small fee as it will class as an international transaction.   In January 2026 £1 = $USD 1.35, €1.15 and $AUD 2.00. Exchange rates constantly change so I advise that you check the rates when you are purchasing.

What does the training look like?

The training is all pre-recorded and online.  The videos include a mix of Kim speaking to the camera, slides and images. They are all spoken by Kim. Notes pages are provided at the start of each Section and there are additional handouts in Section 2. You can start at any time and progress at your own pace.  Paying members can join the live Ask Kim sessions, and can ask questions in Section 2 within the training.

If you’r unsure, you can join the free subscription to view the Section 1, the rest of the training follows the same format as the updated videos in Section 1.

Technical requirements

The training does not work on Internet Explorer as this is no longer supported by the training platform.  It displays well on Google Chrome, Safari, Mozilla and Microsoft Edge (explorer replacement).  We recommend you watch the videos on a desktop computer for the best viewing computer.
