About the Adult Sensory Processing Assessment
Please note this service is currently only available in the UK. It is available for all adults over the age of 18. It can be requested by parents for adolescents aged 14-17.
Kim is acutely aware how difficult it can be to access sensory assessments as an adult in the UK. She is also receiving more and more requests to support adults who may have sensory needs of their own. Sometimes, they learn about these whilst their children are getting support. Other times, they might have read an article on weighted blankets or highly sensitive persons and think – could this be me? Sometimes, they can find their workplace (and home) overwhelming, but can’t put their finger on why. This is why Kim is now offering sensory assessments, using the Adult and Adolescent Sensory History, to UK based adults.
The online sensory assessment is deigned to provide quick access to assessment for UK adults wanting to understand their sensory profile in more depth. About Kim
Kim is a highly qualified occupational therapist with over twenty years of experience. Her background is working with children and adolescents. More and more parents of the children she has worked with have asked for support for their own sensory needs as they have struggled to find support. Kim is also acutely ware that they children she works with become adults and that sensory needs are life long. This is why she has now sent up the online sensory processing assessment for adults.

The sensory processing assessment is only available to adults who are based in the UK. Kim is currently not registered to practice as an occupational therapist outside of the UK. This is why she can not offer assessments to families in other countries.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the deposit refundable?
You can change or cancel your appointment time up to 12 hours before. If you do not attend, you will not receive a refund of your deposit.
Can I have my report quicker?
Kim is sorry, but there is no option to speed up the report writing process. She feels that a 10 working day turn around is much quicker than any other service currently offers.
Can I book more coaching if I want to
Yes! You can book additional calls with Kim following the initial package. Just ask Kim when you speak to her.
Why would I want to book an adult sensory assessment?
We know from research that sensory needs or sensory processing differences are lifelong. These can impact relationships, work and home life. If you think you respond to sensations differently to those around you, the sensory assessment will help you to understand why this might be. The coaching call will help you to unpick strategies to reduce the impact of your sensory processing needs.
